The Museum collects archaeological finds ranging from the Neolithic to the Middle Ages and which testify to the ancient history of the village and its territory.

In the rooms of the noble palace and in the antiquarium located in the guesthouse of the abbey complex it is possible to admire various flint and amygdale tools dating from 15,000 to 11,000 years ago.

Terracotta lamps from the 3rd century BC, a terracotta vase from the 9th century BC, a polychrome Attic jug depicting animals and a human figure, an antefix depicting a Gorgon, as well as bronze axes, fibulae and spearheads, but also Roman coins and Daunian and Roman pottery, weaving weights, a cippus with an inscription and dedication to Apollo, a probable statue pedestal, and various jars.

Among the most notable finds are a headless statue with a robe of wavy drapes, a millstone, an imposing terracotta wineskin, and various epigraphs; as well as the remains of the tombstone of Abbot Pietro, the ashlars of an arch with a star, an eagle and a griffin carved on them. The presence of similar ashlars, and therefore presumably having the same origin, outside the former monastery of the Abbey is curious. In fact, it is possible to note at the entrance to the guesthouse a ashlar depicting the Agnus Dei and further down others on which a dragon and a lily are carved.
