A tradition that of the living nativity scene of Sanarica that is renewed every year. The small center, between Muro Leccese and Poggiardo, proposes the suggestive representation in the karst sinkhole of Sant’Angelo, on the provincial road that connects the municipality to the nearby Botrugno, right next to the sports field.

A unique and special way to pay homage to the Nativity in an enchanted place, which takes visitors to the nativity scene back in time, among scents, flavors and crafts. Every year there is no shortage of welcoming moments and stations along the route where you can taste the "pittule" and the "puccette" cooked in a wood oven.

In addition to the nativity scene, on the day of the Epiphany a small procession takes place from the historic center of Sanarica to the Dolina where the nativity scene is set. The Three Wise Men and all the figures parade in a short historical procession that warms the hearts and imagination of young and old.
