The Carapellotto torrent is a river in Puglia whose source is located on Mount Tre Titoli (891 m above sea level) south of Deliceto in the Daunia mountains.
The river, which in its course collects various fiumare, that is, seasonal watercourses that flow abundantly only in winter and autumn, flows towards the north-east and then turns towards the east before flowing, from the left, into the Carapelle river, near the Masseria Sedia d’Orlando.
The largest rivers that flow into the Carapellotto are the Gammarota, the Vallone della Madonna, the Fontana and the Gavitelle.
In the Delicetano dialect, Carapellotto is called Crapella. The Carapellotto torrent basin extends for about 24 kilometers; the territory of the municipality of Deliceto coincides with the river basin.
