The Museum of Rural Civilization of Torrepaduli is located on the ground floor of the eighteenth-century Palazzo Pasanisi. The museum with its ten rooms, houses tools, objects, games of the popular culture of Salento, catalogued with meticulousness. A journey that starts from the nineteenth century through the twentieth century up to the present day, in fact in the first room you can also admire paintings by contemporary authors.
Among the most important events, now a fixed appointment of the Christmas period, is the living nativity scene, a moment in which the Museum of Rural Civilization becomes the nerve center of the Torrepaduli community.
